Life all of a sudden seems to be moving at warp speed. I still am amazed that my “eldest” is three… crazy! After my birth experience with Liam I have gained such a new perspective on life. It took a traumatic experience in my life to get me to stop wishing away the years. There is so much to be thankful for! We are all truly blessed if we just stop every once in a while and take the time to step back and look at everything the Lord has gifted us with. This blog is about capturing the joy in the journey and I want to continue to do that… Maybe not always capturing the moments but writing them down and remembering.
Days in our home have lately consisted of trying to teach the girls how to be nice to their brother. They like to love on him, and I love that they love him so much, but they can get a little rough. We have a pack’n’play in our living room to keep Liam in during the day. Liam loves to be held and snuggled, so wearing him in the Beco Gemini has helped me during the day to get him to sleep and free my hands.
What have my girls been up to lately? Well, Anya and Olivia and I have been able to get outside and take advantage of these last warm summer days. Lots of sprinkler time, chalk drawing, and riding bikes. On rainy days my girls love puzzles, coloring, building with blocks, and reading together. I am almost done with the playroom and I plan on getting some pictures up of it when we are done.
Anya is going to Disney with Nana, Papa, and Uncle Josh next month by herself. I am so excited for her! She is at a great age right now for that and I know she will have a wonderful time with Nana and Papa and Uncle Josh. I will miss my little helper but I am looking forward to getting some time with my youngest two for a bit. Then, Ruben’s Mom, Dad, and two of his siblings are flying from Norway to visit us for two weeks. We are really looking forward to their visit!
Well, that’s it for the Rabbitsauce family update. Have a great rest of your week!
