38 Weeks Pregnant With Baby #3

Another week has come and gone. And yes, I am still pregnant ;) I have had contractions just about every night this week… not those Braxton Hicks ones. These actually hurt, and I thought I was going into labor a few times… but no. Oh well, the Lord knows when this little guy will make his first appearance. My Grandpa’s birthday is this Saturday, and I think it would be really neat to have him then… *hint*hint*

My Midwife is amazing! She suggested that I chew gum to help with my acid reflux, and what would you know… IT WORKED! GUM! Seriously?!? Now if only I knew this with the first two ;)

Praying that this homebirth is different from the first two. I am glad that this time my Midwife speaks English, won’t be panicked about the placenta not coming out right after the birth, and won’t do acupuncture without me knowing why she is doing it first. Oh, and that it won’t go so fast that no one makes it in time… Even though the thought of doing the Castor Oil has crossed my mind a few times I *WILL NOT* do that again!

Amber, I’ve enjoyed your weekly updates. You’re carrying your little one exactly like I carried my second baby. Everywhere I went wide-eyed people would say, “WHEN IS YOUR BABY DUE.” It soon became less than my favorite question. :-) Thanks for linking up at CMB today and for letting us take this journey with you. Blessings!
